Rick Hall
On January 2, 2018, Roe Erister “Rick” Hall died aged 85. He was musician (guitar, mandolin) , music producer, songwriter, music publisher, best known as the owner and proprietor of “FAME Studios” in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. He had recorded and promoted names like Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, Duane Allman, Etta James, Osmonds, Paul Anka and Tom Jones. In 1985, Hall was inducted into the “Alabama Music Hall of Fame”, received the “John Herbert Orr Pioneer Award”, and In 2014, he won the “Grammy Trustees Award”.
Jean-Michel Jarre: Oxygene 3
On December 2, 2016, “Columbia” label released “Oxygène 3”, the nineteenth Jean-Michel Jarre album. It was recorded in 2018, and was produced by Jean-Michel Jarre. The album was released on 2 December 2016, on the 40th anniversary of the original Oxygène album.

Malcolm Young
On November 18, 2017, Malcolm Mitchell Young died aged 64. He was musician (guitar), vocalist and songwriter, best known as co-founder and member of AC/DC. In 2003, Malcolm was inducted into the “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame” (together with the other members of AC/DC).
