Sahara Hotnights: Kiss & Tell

On July 27, 2004, “RCA Records” label released “Kiss & Tell”, the third Sahara Hotnights studio album. It was recorded in 2004 and was produced by Pelle Gunnerfeldt.

On July 24, 2007, “Rubber Jungle Records” label released “The Horseshoe Curve”, the sixth Trey Anastasio studio album. It was recorded 2004 – 2006, at “The Barn” in Burlington, Vermont, and was produced by Trey Anastasio.

Sacha Distel

On July 22, 2004, Alexandre “Sacha” Distel died aged 71. He was musician (guitar), singer and actor, during his career worked with Dizzy Gillespie, Tony Bennett, Kenny Clarke, Jimmy Gourley, Lionel Hampton, Slide Hampton, Bobby Jaspar, Barney Kessel, John Lewis, Pierre Michelot, Bernard Peiffer, Henri Renaud, Fats Sadi, Art Simmons, Martial Solal, René Urtreger, and Barney Wilen.  In 1997, Distel was made “Chevalier (Knight) of the Légion d’honneur”.

Tuxedomoon: Cabin in the Sky

On July 20, 2004, “Cramboy” label released “Cabin in the Sky”, the tenth Tuxedomoon studio album. It was recorded in 2004, in Cagli, Italy, and Brussels, Belgium, and was produced by Coti, Steven Brown, Blaine L. Reininger, Peter Dachert and Luc Van Lieshout.

Arthur Kane Jr.

On July 13, 2004, Arthur Harold Kane Jr. died aged 55. He was  musician (guitar, bass), was a member and worked with The Idols, Corpse Grinders, Killer Kane with Blackie Lawless, Sid Vicious, but was best known as a founding member and bass player of The New York Dolls.
