He was photographer and cinematographer known for his documentaries on popular music and musicians, such as the documentary on “Woodstock” festival, “Johnny Cash in San Quentin”, “Elvis on Tour”, “Mad Dogs & Englishmen” (Joe Cocker), “Soul to Soul”, “Wattstax”, “Let the Good Times Roll”, “Save the Children”, “The Grateful Dead”, “The Last Waltz”, “Rust Never Sleeps” (Neil Young & the Crazy Horse), “Shadows and Light” (Joni Mitchell), and “Cracked Actor: A Film About David Bowie”.
