Townes Van Zandt: Our Mother the Mountain

In April 1969, “Tomato” label released “Our Mother the Mountain”, the second Townes Van Zandt studio album. It was recorded in January 1969 in Los Angele and Nashville, and was produced by Kevin Eggers, Jim Malloy and Jack Clement.

On September 27, 1975, “Columbia” label released “Portrait Gallery”, the fifth Harry Chapin studio album. It was recorded in 1975, at “Connecticut Recording Studios, Inc” in Connecticut, and was produced by Paul Leka.

XTC: Orange & Lemons

Oranges and lemons

On February 27, 1989, “Virgin” label released “Oranges & Lemons”, the eleventh XTC studio album. It was recorded in 1988, at “Ocean Way Recording” in Los Angeles, and was produced by Paul Fox. The album cover, designed by  Heinz Edelmann (Yellow Submarine artist), is inspired by a 1965 “WOR-FM 98.7” radio advert poster by Milton Glaser.
