Hawkwind: Same

Hawkwind

On August 14, 1970, “Liberty” label released the self-titled, same Hawkwind studio album. It was recorded in April 1970, at “Trident Studios” in London, and was produced by Dick Taylor  and Hawkwind. It is regarded as one of the first space rock albums.

MC 5: High Time

High Time

On July 6, 1971, “Atlantic” label released “High Time”, the second MC5 studio album. It was recorded September–October 1970,  at “Artie Fields Studios” in Detroit, ”Lansdowne Studios” and “Pye Studios” in London, and was produced by Fred Smith, Wayne Kramer, Dennis Thompson, Rob Tyner and Geoffrey Haslam.

On January 15, 1970, “Atlantic” label released “Back in the USA”, the debut MC5 studio album, and second album overall, following 1969’s live album “Kick out the Jams”. It was recorded in 1969, at the “GM Studios” in Detroit, and was produced by Jon Landau.
