On March 20, 2020, Kenneth Ray Rogers aka Kenny Rogers died aged 81. He was singer, songwriter, actor, record producer and entrepreneur, member of the “Country Music Hall of Fame”. He has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, mostly in country music, and charted more than 120 hit singles, becoming one of the best-selling music artists of all time.

Albert Grossman
On January 25, 1996, Albert Bernard Grossman died aged 58. He was entrepreneur and manager, best known as manager of Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, Peter, Paul and Mary, The Band, Todd Rundgren, Odetta, Gordon Lightfoot and Ian & Sylvia. In 1969 he built the “Bearsville Recording Studio” near Woodstock, and in 1970 he founded “Bearsville Records”.

On September 9, 2004, Ernie Ball died aged 73. He was entrepreneur, musician, and innovator, best known as guitar maker, with successful guitars and accessories business. In the 50’s he opened the first guitar shop in US (in Tarzana, California), and developed guitar strings called “Slinkys”.
