On July 7, 2007, “Merge” label released “Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga”, the sixth Spoon studio album. It was recorded September 2006 – January 2007, at “Public Hi-Fi”, “The Mob House” in Austin, Texas, “Cherokee” in Los Angeles, “Ocean” in Burbank, California, and was produced by Jon Brion, Britt Daniel, Jim Eno, Mike McCarthy, Britt Daniel, Jim Eno, Eric Harvey, and Rob Pope.

On May 10, 2005, “Merge Records” label released “Gimme Fiction”, the fifth Spoon studio album. It was recorded July – September 2014, at “Public Hi – Fi” in Austin, Texas, and was produced by Britt Daniel, Jim Eno and Mike McCarthy.
