On January 24, 1972, “RCA” released the self titled, fourth Cass Elliot studio album. It was recorded in 1971 at “RCA’s Music Center of the World” in Hollywood, and was produced by Lewis Merenstein and Benny Golson. The album cover photography was by George Hurrell.
