On April 14, 1997, “Mute” label released “Ultra”, the ninth Depeche Mode studio album. It was recorded January 1996 – February 1997; at “Abbey Road” in Eastcote, Westside, Strongroom, “RAK” in London, “Electric Lady” in New York City, “Larrabee West”  in Los Angeles, and was produced by Tim Simenon.
