Herbie Hancock: Takin’ Off

In October 1962, “Blue Note” label released “Takin’ Off”, the debut Herbie Hancock album. It was recorded in May 1962, at “Van Gelder Studio” in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, and was produced by Alfred Lion.

Manchester Orchestra: A Black Mile to the Surface

On July 21, 2017, “Favorite Gentlemen” label released “A Black Mile to the Surface”, the fifth Manchester Orchestra studio album. It was recorded in 2017, at “Favorite Gentlemen” in Atlanta, “Echo Mountain” in Asheville,  and  “Elmwood West” in Dallas, and was produced by  Andy Hull, Robert McDowell and Catherine Marks.
