The Pogues: Rum Sodomy & The Lash

On August 5, 1985, “Stiff” label released “Rum Sodomy & the Lash”, the second Pogues (The) studio album. It was recorded in 1985, at “Elephant Studios” in London, and was produced by Elvis Costello and Philip Chevron.

On January 18, 1988, “Pogue Mahone” released “If I Should Fall from Grace with God”, the third Pogues (The) album.  It  was recorded in 1987, at the “Rak Studios” in London, and was produced by Steve Lillywhite. “If I Should Fall from Grace with God” became the band’s best-selling album of all time.
