On April 15, 1977,”United Artists” label released “Rattus Norvegicus”, the debut Stranglers studio album. It was recorded 20 December 1976 – 28 January 1977 at “TW Studios” in  Fulham, ”Olympic Studios”  in London, and was produced by Martin Rushen. In 2014, “NME” magazine ranked it at number 196 in its list of “The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time”.
