On June 9, 2015, “Sacred Bones” label released “Apocalypse, Girl”, the fifth Jenny Hval studio album. It was recorded in 2015, and was produced by Lasse Marhaug.

On February 19, 2016, “Epitaph” label released “Livin’ on a High Note”, the Mavis Staples studio album. It was recorded in August 2015, at “Agoura Borealis” in Agoura Hills, California, “Kingsize” in Los Angeles, and “CRC” in Chicago, and was produced by Matthew Ward.
