On May 16, 2026, Dennis Michael Locorriere died aged 76. He was musician (guitar, harmonica, drums), singer and songwriter, best known as guitarist and one of the lead vocalists of the band Dr. Hook (formerly Dr. Hook & the Medicine Show). His songs were recorded by Jerry Lee Lewis, Bob Dylan, BJ Thomas, Olivia Newton-John, Eillie Nelson, Crystal Gayle, Southside Johnny and Helen Reddy. As leader he released three albums.
