On June 29, 1975, Timothy Charles “Tim” Buckley III died aged 28. He was a singer-songwriter and guitarist with unique and recognizable folk-oriented music that incorporated jazz, psychedelia, funk, soul, and avant-garde. During his lifetime, Buckley did not achieve commercial success, but he is admired by later generations for his music and music innovations.
