Roy Buchanan

On August 14, 1988, Roy Buchanan died aged 48. Being guitarist and song writer, he is known as a pioneer of “Telecaster” sound and magazine “Guitar Player” praised him as one of the “50 Greatest tones of all time”. Buchanan recorded more than 15 solo albums in his career, two of his early albums have achieved gold status. Jeff Beck dedicated the song “Cause we’ve ended as lovers” to Buchanan in 1975 on his “Blow by Blow” album.
