On March 6, 1989, “Mechanic” label released “When Dream and Day Unite”, the debut Dream Theater studio album. It was recorded July – August 1988, at “Kajem / Victory Studios” in Gladwyne, Pennsylvania, and was produced by Terry Date, Charlie Dominici, Kevin Moore, John Myung, John Petrucci and Mike Portnoy.
