On November 9, 1979, “Chiswick” label released “Machine Gun Etiquette”, the third Damned (The) studio album. It was recorded March – August 1979, at “Sound Suite”, “Wessex Sound Studios”, “Utopia Studios”, “Workhouse Studios”, “SGS Studios” “Chalk Farm Studios”, and was produced by Roger Armstrong, Ed Hollis, Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, Rat Scabies and Algy Ward.

On June 15, 1981, “EMI” label released the self-titled, debut Duran Duran studio album. It was recorded in December 1980, at “Red Bus Studios”, “Abbey Road Studios”, “Utopia Studio” and “Chipping Norton Recording Studios”, and was produced by Colin Thurston. In December 1982, the album was certified Platinum in UK by the “BPI”, and Platinum in the US by the “RIIA”.
